Late last year, Tamarack Aerospace commemorated its 200th Active Winglet installation at its Sandpoint, ID headquarters, in an event that included key figures who helped define the company’s history.

“With more than 200 installs, Active Winglets now equip a significant percentage of the CitationJet fleet,” the company stated, adding the December 20th celebration marked not only the 200th installation, “but also the community, team and determination that made it possible.”
To that end, guests included John Hammill, Tamarack’s first customer; Larry McKoane, their 100th customer; and Drew Forhan, owner of the CJ2 that now sports Tamarack’s 200th Active Winglet installation.
The company heralded, “this community of early adopters and passionate pilots has been critical to Tamarack’s success. It’s their feedback, trust, and advocacy that helped turn Active Winglets into the industry-changing technology it is today.
“This milestone is a celebration of the past,” the company added, “but also a springboard toward the next chapter of innovation.”
