CJP kicked off 2025 with a gathering in Wichita, KS for the Textron Aviation Safety Standdown which provided some very informative briefings from Textron safety professionals as well as our very own Charlie Precourt! We followed up with our CJP Q1 Board Meeting, where I shared my priorities for this year; 1) Increasing CJP membership 2) Expanding overall communication with members and partners 3) Improving budget forecasting, and 4) Cultivating partner value and touchpoints with CJP owner members.
In February, I represented CJP at the NBAA Leadership Conference in Amelia Island, FL and attended the annual GAMA reception in Washington, DC. It was great seeing many of our CJP members and partners at both events, and it’s wonderful to see so many members engaged in business and general aviation events throughout the country.
We also kicked off in February our inaugural “Coffee Talk with CJP” via Zoom. (Click here to view the full presentation, and use passcode W&C4^E36). We’ll continue this every other month. During this Zoom, I introduced our new CJP Operations Manager, Vera Millovich to our CJP team.
Vera joins us with many years of experience serving as a civilian in the Air Force and Army as well as the business sector. She now oversees CJP’s organizational processes, ensuring seamless operations and strategic growth while enhancing work quality and productivity.

I am also pleased to report that after several years of work, our Safety & Education Foundation has received a service mark from the US Patent & Trademark Office for our industry leading Safe to Land(R) program!
Receive FAA WINGS Credits for CJP Safety Events!
CJP is excited to announce a new partnership with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) through the FAA WINGS Pilot Proficiency Program. This initiative allows CJP members who attend our Safety Events to earn valuable WINGS credits, enhancing their flying skills and safety knowledge.
The program was successfully launched during our recent Regional Event in Deer Valley, where attendees received 3 credits for their participation. This partnership underscores CJP’s commitment to fostering a culture of safety and proficiency among its members.

Since my last update, I am happy to announce five (5) new CJP Partners!
