Tamarack Partners with 4Air on Sustainability Program

Tamarack Aerospace recently announced a partnership with sustainability rating and carbon offset provider 4AIR, allowing its customers to voluntarily opt-in to the program to offset 100 flight hours through 4AIR with the purchase of the company’s active winglets for CJ1, M2, CJ2 and CJ3 airframes.

“Tamarack is committed to reducing our environmental impact in a responsible and effective manner, and we are pleased to offer our customers the opportunity to join us in promoting sustainability,” said Tamarack President Jacob Klinginsmith. “4AIR’s validation of efforts to offset emissions provides confidence in the steps that are taken, ensures the transparency of these steps, and affirms their positive impact on our climate.”

Upon signup, 4AIR will conduct an initial assessment of the carbon emissions for the participating aircraft. 4AIR will then acquire and retire carbon credits to ensure they meet the criteria set by industry standards and 4AIR’s rating guidelines. These credits will fund verified real-world projects to offset carbon emissions.

“Tamarack’s commitment to reducing aviation emissions aligns perfectly with our mission at 4AIR,” said Kennedy Ricci, President of 4AIR. “Their innovative winglet technology already reduces fuel burn and emissions, and this program gives operators a path to go even further by offsetting the environmental impact of their operations in a credible and transparent way.”
