Greetings and Salutations! With 2024 well underway I hope the year thus far has found you favor and for those who have made one I trust that you are holding fast to your resolution!
This year has already been very busy for your organization. Rob Balzano took the controls at the beginning of January as our new CEO and has hit the ground running at full speed. Rob has a great team with Cheryl and Liz briefing him on works in progress and those on the horizon. The team is hard at work renewing and strengthening relationships with our partners and members.
Your Board of Directors has also been hard at it for the last several months. After a vigorous CEO search last fall and the hiring of Rob (rob@citationjetpilots.com) the board convened in San Antonio for the winter meeting and a two-and-a-half-day strategy session with our team. This was productive time with our new CEO and the board, setting objectives and direction for 2024 and beyond. CJP has a lot to continue to offer its members and partners and we are invigorated about the prospects that lie ahead.
February saw our highly popular Deer Valley regional event, which was again sold-out. We had many repeat visitors and also new friends attend. Looking ahead we are planning to return in 2025. We encourage you to attend this event if you haven’t as it is very well regarded by our attendees and will for certain sell out again for 2025. Stay tuned for your earliest opportunity to register!
Our Interaction Committee continues to plan and prepare for more events in 2024. Keep checking in for the calendar of events and we hope to see you soon! On the horizon is the owner and member dinner in Scottsdale in March and another in Seattle in June. We hope to see you there.
The safety committee is already planning the content and agenda for our next convention in September. The industry leading work being done by the safety committee is grabbing the attention of the insurance industry at an increasing rate and we are having conversations with key stakeholders regarding leveraging this effort for all of our members. We will be rolling out more “what good looks like” videos and content throughout the year so please check in often.
With Spring just around the corner, it is not too early to be looking toward the Fall and our convention this year at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. This resort is one of our most popular destinations for a reason. Please put September 4-7, 2024 on your calendar and sign up early as this convention will sell out.
