Gold Standard Application

The CJP Gold Standard Safety Award is awarded at the CJP convention every year. A committee will review all of the applicants to make sure that they meet the criteria listed on the application. The applicant must provide proof of completion for the following training:

  1. 100 PIC Multi-engine Turbine hours between August 1, 2024, and July 31, 2025.
  2. Agreement to read and incorporate the CJP Standard Operating Practices (SOPs)
  3. Complete a Citation 61.58 checkride (simulator preferred, or in aircraft if necessary)
  4. Complete additional Citation dual instruction comprised of at least 4 flight training hours and 4 hours of ground instruction:
    • If the 61.58 check ride (item 3 above) was accomplished in a Part 142 simulator, the flight training hours may be either in aircraft or in simulator at the pilot’s discretion. A second 61.58 in the simulator also fills the requirement.
    • If the 61.58 was accomplished in-aircraft, these dual hours must be in a Part 142 simulator using elements from the CJP Gold Standard Sim Training scenario-based training.
  5. Additional enrichment training between August 1, 2024, and July 31, 2025.
  6. Describe and provide proof of completion of one of the following training events between August 1, 2024, and July 31, 2025. You must include proof of completion.
